Recently, I was having lunch with my friend Lisa, and was explaining to her the plight of our new "computer". I'm using the term computer loosely here, given that the device is really a way for us to access the internet from the road. Its so small, its nearly impossible to type on -- it has no memory, so things like photo storage are a bit of an issue -- and finally, its Linux based.
After hearing my stories, Lisa suggested I photograph the computer for comparison sake. So, for Lisa and everyone else -- Here is the "computer" next to my Mac. I am smiling to myself right now, because in all fairness, the photo doesn't really show you just how tiny it is.
I thought there might be a few of you out there still thinking, "Its not that small!" So, here it is with my garden variety dvd remote sitting on top of it.
How small is that???? So, dear reader, you might have to bear with us -- there will likely be typos, some odd misplaced photographs, and given that the screen is so small, it will likely take us ages to read and write email. On the bright side -- you will be able to join us on our entire trip. From smelly elephants to strange food to the excitement of the Olympics -- you will be there. And I couldn't be happier about that!
