George is standing at the gate to Parliament. The Houses of Parliament are connected to Big Ben. On the other side of Parliament? The Thames, of course! Its a beautiful sight if you are lucky enough to be cruising on the river!

Pictures of Ben and George (London)
Westminster Abbey (London)
So we talked a very short tourist into taking our picture in front of the Abbey. If you look closely, you will notice that I am wearing a bright pink (that's not the look closely part) scarf with a blue emblem. That emblem is the symbol of our local football team -- Chelsea! Jason and I are pretty religious about watching the matches on television and in fact Jason has even gone to one in person!
Remember the small emblem on the scarf? (London)
The team rides on the top of an open-top double decker bus. They are holding the trophy for all the fans to see!

Hong Kong: People, Neon and Excitement!
Continuing with the lay of the land (Hong Kong)
We love neon! (Hong Kong)
Escalator Heaven (Hong Kong)
Subways, Subways... (Hong Kong)
A little bit of Buddhism (Hong Kong)
One last bit of Susperstition (Hong Kong)
This lion is one of a pair that guards the entrance to the HSBC building in Hong Kong. The lions were carefully relocated from the old headquarters of the bank as the bank and its employees believe that the lions are the guardians of the bank's fortune. It is also said that good fortune will come to those who rub the lion's paws! Being very interested in good fortune, Jason and I rubbed all the paws on both lions!

How to rebuild a city! (Lisbon)
An Elevator to the Stars...(Lisbon)
Stolen Monuments...(Lisbon)
To your right as you approach the bridge, is the statue 'Cristo Rei' (literally: 'Christ King' - often translated as 'Christ in Majesty') which stands on a huge pillar and overlooks the mouth of the mighty Tagus river ('Rio Tejo'). This is a smaller replica of the even more impressive 'Cristo Redentor' ('Christ the Redeemer') statue which is situated on the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Mosteiro Dos Jeronimos (Lisbon)
Did you think we were going somewhere in Europe and you weren't going to see a beautiful church? Ha! You thought wrong! (Or right!) This is Mosteiro Dos Jeronimos.
Let's get back to the good stuff...(Lisbon)
Jason is testing my fear of heights by balancing precariously over the edge of the castle. Again, quick photo, and then "Jason, please get down!!!"
